Our whiteboard journey is thriving! The tool room board is already full, and today we added a secondary “on deck continued” board. We are excited to announce that we will soon possibly be adding a third board to handle more communication within our tool room!

6S Competition - Growing!

I hope you’ve had a chance to check out the special edition from earlier this month that showcases J-Fill starting KALOE's 6S journey!

We’re excited to announce that we're expanding this journey into the molding department. This means we're launching our 6S monthly competition!

The area that performs the best in our 6S audit will win a shiny trophy to show off for the month, plus a special treat or prize for everyone who took part!

Continued Mold Department Journey from September:

Last month, KALOE conducted its first official SWOT analysis meeting with our Molding department!

**1st Shift Team: ** Terry R., Ricky, Isamar, Claribel, Iesha, Junior, and RJ

**2nd Shift Team: ** Dan, Heidi, Bonnie, Tristan, Scott, Olga, and Maggie

What Has Been Happening?

We have identified a need for enhanced communication between the 1st and 2nd shifts.

To address this, we have introduced a communication board. This board will display information by shift and category, serving as a tool commonly used in lean manufacturing environments to enhance communication and track performance. It will help teams stay informed about production schedules, safety, quality, and other key performance indicators.
