As we keep working on our lean journey, I want to take this chance to share something useful. This month, we’re focusing on the 8 Forms of Waste.
What: The 8 types of waste
When: All the time
Why: To get rid of activities that don’t add value, lower costs, and work more efficiently
Where: Everywhere. The tools we use at work can also help you stay organized at home.
How: Remove anything you don’t use, that’s broken, or that you have too much of. Keep items close to where you need them, make the most of everyone’s skills, use just-in-time (JIT) inventory, and follow 6S principles.

6S Journey – Let’s Go Team KALOE!
On February 18th, Air Logic made their grand entrance — kicking off their very first 6S event with incredible energy!
These ladies (& Mike) absolutely crushed it! Not only did they knock it out of the park, but they took everything they learned and ran with it — completely on their own! The results have been outstanding, and they are fired up and ready to power through more 6S events to transform their entire area!
It was an absolute honor and a thrill working alongside this incredible team — we cannot wait to see what they accomplish next!
THANK YOU ALL FOR MOVING KNAPP/AIR LOGIC FORWARD! YOU ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

They have both been integral to KAL’s journey and will be missed!
