LEAN JOURNEY
Hi Team!
We have officially completed our first year on our Lean Journey, or at least
my documenting it here in the Newsletter!
We have used tools such as SWOT analysis to define goals in
our molding department.
We have looked for 8 wastes in (DOWNTIME): Defects, Overproduction,
Waiting, Non-utilized talent, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, and Extra processing.
We have used 6S in several departments, which, as you all know by now, stands for
Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

Sustain- The final S -support, maintain, and keep it going! Several areas are living in the sustain portion of 6S and KAL can tell!
WOO HOO SHIPPING! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
The month of May our trophy’s home is the Shipping Department!

What a great thing to celebrate, us being heard, the company listening to each and every one of us!
