Happy New Year KALOE team and welcome to 2026! 2025 taught us valuable lessons. Now, 2026 is our year to shine—just like 6S, where we Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and maintain Safety to build excellence together!

I need YOUR help! I’m on a mission to make our Newsletter better, and you’re the secret ingredient.  Take a quick moment to let me know:

  • What did you love reading?

  • What caught your attention and made you think?

  • What made your eyes glaze over?

Your feedback is truly valuable! Let’s work together to make 2026 a great year for KALOE!

From the President's desk ... This is the President's Corner

As mentioned in our December newsletter, I will provide you with additional details on each of the five components of the KALOE program.

  1. Long-term strategic vision for our company

  2. Process-focused approach that minimizes waste and improves efficiency

  3. High level of employee engagement in plant-wide Safety & Quality initiatives

  4. Obsession towards improving internal and external Customer Satisfaction

  5. Organization that promotes learning and respect for its people

In January, I’ll focus on principle 1, our strategic vision: to deliver mechanical fluid control components and dilution control systems that provide superior value to our customers. We aim to align our processes, people, technology, and culture to achieve greater operational efficiency, enabling continued investment in new technology and product offerings to drive revenue growth.

Our KALOE initiatives support our strategic vision and operational efficiency by improving product and communication flow throughout our facility. Previous newsletters have highlighted process changes, and I would like to clarify the reasons behind some of them. The Quattro Select manifold and selector valve flow line, Eductor flow line, and Umbrella

Check valve flow lines enhance quality by narrowing each employee’s scope of work and increase productivity by maximizing value-added steps in assembly. Tier meetings, visual management boards, and Kanban cards are among the methods we use to improve communication within and across departments, reducing confusion and downtime.

We’re excited to announce that we're expanding this journey into Equipment Assembly department. J-Fill and molding, EA is bringing on the competition!

The area that performs the best in our 6S audit will win a shiny trophy to show off for the month, plus a special treat or prize for everyone who took part!

We are working together to make our workspace even better!

Let’s live the Lean Culture!

Good luck J-Fill, Molding, and EA!

We are coming for the rest of you!

The Equipment Assembly team crushed it in zone 1 (front GUI, toolbox, and storage near vending machine) and the Quattro Select Manifold line!

Huge shoutout to Sandra, Steve, Lori, Sarah, and Eddie for their amazing work! Your dedication and energy made this happen!

6S is transforming our workspace! We’re creating a safer, more efficient environment while building quality, cutting costs, and igniting team pride in everything we do! Want to join in? Ask your area lead or contact me!
