From the President's desk...
Hopefully, by now, you have seen or participated in some of the recent Continuous
Improvement projects completed in our plant. These efforts are being led by our KALOE
(Knapp Air Logic Operational Excellence) core team members Andrea O’Dell and Laura
Hanna. Each month, I will provide additional details on our KALOE program to help you
understand how it will continue to transform the way we work as a Team and improve our
business performance.
Operational Excellence is centered around the following principles:
Long-term strategic vision for our company
Process-focused approach that reduces waste and increases efficiency
Strong employee engagement in plant-wide safety and quality initiatives

Final Thoughts...
Many people find change difficult, and that’s okay. Our brains like what’s familiar, so new things can make us feel anxious or resistant. Change takes focus and effort, but progress depends on it.
